Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is an Norwegian music writer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is released in May of 2015 by Decca Records. It has received a lot of praise from media and bloggers. She has previously recorded two highly-profile cover songs Half the World Away by Oasis. Oasis for a Christmas advertisement by John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry's support for the song Runaway via a blog post brought the singer additional recognition. Enjoy her day. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music was discovering a grand piano in the attic. It was awe-inspiring to see the possibilities it offered. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents, May Britt Aksnes, and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to pursue music for a love rather as a career. She started writing songs of her own. She is credited with Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen and Bjork for being among her inspirations. Her mother encouraged her to perform her music publicly, not so that she could gain fame but rather to help others realize how important they are and the good they do for humanity. When she was six She began playing the piano and at nine, started writing songs. Family members didn't even have any idea about it until she reached the age of fourteen. The dream was never to become Aurora. Aurora claims she loves creating music. According to her, she believes that music can help anyone feel better.
