Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani Peruvian Muay thai fighter, mixed martial arts artist, and fights with the UFC flyweight division. Shevchenko is the elder sister of an earlier UFC Flyweight champion as well as co- UFC competitor Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko's combat sport career began with her debut as a Muay Thai competitor. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title after which she defeated Suzane Mller on a unanimous vote. Antonina received a gold medal in 2007, a silver medal in 2008, a silver in 2007 and a medal that was bronze in 2008 as well as an award of gold in the year 2011.
