Ky-Mani Marley, born in Falmouth Jamaica on 26th February 1976, is among the many of the most well-known and wealthy Reggae artists. He sang in Shottas with another singer Wyclef. Ky-Mani released his debut album, titled Like Father Like Son in 1996. This was later it was followed by Dear Dad", which reached number 1 on charts in the British chart of reggae. Ky-Mani, as well as Praswell along with Praswell and Fugees (as as part of Avenue), a popular cover version by Eddy Grant called Electric Avenue came out in 1997. Marley became the first artist to appear in Midem in Miami, an international showcase of music. Marley performed in the Cameo Theatre that was broadcasted live across 36 countries.
